WATCHER FACTIONS -
AMATSU-KAMI
The 'heart' of the Amatsu-Kami resembles the Shinto symbol from the Tao and Buddhist religions. Their weapons and armour also have many elements and additions that share design aspects with many ancient oriental cultures. For these reasons they were named the Amatsu-Kami, after a group of Japanese Deities believed to reside in the heavenly realm of Takamagahara.
Their 'heart' is constructed with a high concentration of the chemical Luminol which causes the contained energy to glow with a bright neon blue colour.

As the Amatsu-Kami are named after Japanese Deities it seemed only fitting that their most notable Faction command were named after important Major and Minor Kami.
One of the well known and viciously skilled Faction Balors is named Izanagi, after one of the Kamiyonanayo revered as a creation Deity.
The Arawn taking charge of several Balor led Amatsu-Kami groups is named FÅ«jin, after one of the oldest Shinto Deities and God of the wind.
The Ayrmid tasked with controlling the Factions home planet is named Hachiman, after the God of war and divine protector of the people of Japan.
Their one overseeing Faction Scahach is named Rajin, after the major Kami known as the God of thunder and lightning.
