HISTORY

Rail Infantry are the oldest infantry Attachments available to the Human Force. Rail Rifles, with which the infantry are armed with as standard, were first introduced as a viable weapon back in 2032 after being perfected by Oleff Hollenson at the SAWDF (Scandinavian Advanced Weaponry Development Facilty).

Specialist training was given to the most elite infantry of the time and the Rail Rifle became standard issue to the newly formed Rail Infantry Attachments in 2034.

For many years the Rail Infantry were viewed as the pinnacle of highly trained specialist infantry and were almost unstoppable in battle with their weapons long range, incredible accuracy and high rate of fire.

Subsequently, the huge advances in research and development have meant that almost all other standard issue Human weaponry has usurped the Rail Rifle. Despite this fact, the Rail Infantry remain a force to be reckoned with and have become the workhorse of and Human Force.
