STANDARD LOAD-OUT

Each Arc Marine is loaded-out with a Radial Arc Shotgun and a Combat Blade.

Each Arc Marine Captain is loaded-out with a Radial Arc Shotgun and a Light Tesla Fist.

ETYMOLOGY

The Arc Infantry, as with most Human attachments, are named after the weapon they are loaded-out with. The Radial Arc Shotgun fires a shot comprising of 2 small projectiles joined with a highly conductive wire allowing the electric charge within each projectile to flow between them. The shots, fire at high velocity, then imbed themselves into the target and continue to 'arc' through their body.

Arc infantry are best utilised in close range combat as although the weapon packs a serious punch it does have a very short effective range. You would be wise to field Arc Infantry against large groups of fast moving close combat enemies.
