It was around 44000BCE when we believe this exponential growth had been so efficient and fast that almost all the organic material had been stripped from most Haraka occupied planets before any more planetary or interstellar seeding could take place. And due do their position in relation to other solar systems, not enough ova were sent out to successfully hit nearby celestial bodies before the organic material depleted.

As a result of this the Haraka had no choice but to fall into a state of prolonged torpor, awaiting either the regrowth of organic material around them or the arrival of any unsuspecting lifeforms in their sectors. The Haraka lay dormant in this state for thousands of years without any outside interference.
